Scientific, Safety & Product Disclaimer

This policy applies to all hardware, documentation, digital content, and platforms provided by Quantum H2 USA LLC, doing business as Copexa (herein referred to as "Copexa"). By purchasing, installing, or evaluating Copexa hardware, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Educational and Informational Purpose Only

The information, research references, product documentation, and biological concepts presented by Copexa are intended exclusively for educational, research, and informational purposes.

2. Experimental Framework & Stance on Claims

Copexa hardware is engineered strictly as an environmental support tool for the controlled deployment of dissolved molecular hydrogen gas within closed aquatic environments. Any statements regarding molecular hydrogen, oxidative balance, or cellular stability are grounded in emerging scientific interest and published peer-reviewed research discussions.

  • No Medical Claims: Copexa products are not veterinary medications and contain no therapeutic drugs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, parasitic infections, or health conditions in fish, coral, shrimp, or any other living organisms. Independent research studies (such as those using zebrafish models) are referenced strictly to highlight historical academic trends, not to claim or imply direct health outcomes in home or commercial setups.

  • No Guaranteed Outcomes: Because closed aquatic environments are highly complex biochemical systems, no specific biological outcomes, livestock improvements, or environmental results are guaranteed or implied.

3. Operational Variability & System Dynamics

Aquatic ecosystems vary drastically based on a wide range of operational factors, including:

  • System design, plumbing layout, and total water volume.

  • Filtration, protein skimming, and surface aeration mechanics.

  • Biological load, stocking densities, and feeding schedules.

  • Core water chemistry and baseline aquarium care practices.

Because of these unique variables, actual dissolved hydrogen concentration levels, gas persistence, and localized environmental behavior will differ—sometimes substantially—from one aquarium system to another.

4. Physical Safety, Flammability & Mandatory Ventilation Requirements

Molecular hydrogen (H2) is a highly volatile, colorless, odorless, and flammable gas. When dissolved hydrogen vents out of the aquatic system, it naturally rises and diffuses into the surrounding air.

  • The 4% Flammability Threshold: Hydrogen gas becomes a severe fire hazard if it is allowed to accumulate to a concentration of 4% or greater by volume in air.

  • Mandatory Venting Requirements: The end-user is strictly responsible for ensuring that the hardware unit and the aquarium system are operated in a well-ventilated environment. If the machine, the aquarium, or the sump system is enclosed within a cabinet, under-tank stand, equipment shroud, or confined closet, active mechanical ventilation (such as strategic exhaust fans or open-air venting) is mandatory.

  • User Duty: You must ensure that escaping gas is continuously dispersed into a large, ventilated room rather than pooling in a confined space where electrical components, chokes, ballasts, or relays could act as an ignition source.

5. User Accountability

The ultimate responsibility for safely evaluating, monitoring, and determining appropriate operational flow rates, deployment intervals, and automated runtime schedules rests entirely with the end-user. The user assumes full ownership of safely configuring the hardware to match their specific aquatic environment and physical space.

As aquatic hydrogen research continues to evolve, all product descriptions, manual parameters, and scientific references remain subject to ongoing development, refinement, and updates without prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quantum H2 USA LLC (d/b/a Copexa), its members, developers, employees, and distributors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever.

This comprehensive limitation applies to, but is not limited to:

  • Property damage, structural damage, or fire.

  • Personal injury or wrongful death.

  • Loss of livestock, coral, plants, or biological filters.

  • Associated equipment failures or water damage.

By installing and operating this technology, the user explicitly acknowledges that they are working with a compressed/generated gas environment and voluntarily assumes all physical, legal, financial, and operational risks associated with the deployment of hydrogen generation hardware.
